We are thrilled that God's work of salvation happened outside of us. Without our help. Without our involvement. Without our cooperation. God's grace, Christ's saving death and resurrection, and the life-giving work of the Holy Spirit - that's where 100% of the credit goes.
But now, things are different. The credit still goes to God. But now, we ARE involved. We DO cooperate. God's work now happens INSIDE us. He actually comes and makes his home in our hearts.
We spend the summer months focusing on what it means for us to have Our Hearts as His Home. With God dwelling within us, all kinds of blessed results grow. Praise God for his saving work for us and in us!
